Up Norf!
Soon to be released from his contract in the MLS, would you see DB in a Chelsea shirt?

I for one would be right up for it.

Age seems to be no issue for him and his contribution on the training pitch and in the game would be invaluable...anyone who saw him play against Utd for AC Milan at OT will know that he still has the ability to play at the top level, albeit maybe more sparingly than before across the course of the season.

Another thing, more on the mercenary side, is that he would sell more shirts than anyone we have seen at the club...very handy if we are to balance out some of the money we have lashed out since January!

Despite hating all Los Angeles sports (It's a NorCal thing), the Galaxy get the most TV time here so I see him play a decent amount. I'd say he's easily the best set-piece man in MLS, although that's not saying a whole lot since the league is pretty bad.

The revenue his shirt would bring in would also be nice, definitely agree there.

Blimey! Becks to Chelsea!

I didn't see that one coming.

That'd certainly complete your Dad's Army line-up of aging players.

"Don't tell him your name, Cole!"

What contribution would he give on the training pitch? teaching the others how to get close to the camera when somebody esle scores

Honestly, that is possibly the most dickish reply I've seen, considering he is one of the most dedicated professionals in the game.

No finer gentleman in Football than Becks. I'd offer him a player/coach role, be good for team spirit I reckon. But I can't see him getting too many games <laugh>
