Kasper is a quality keeper and a decent bloke. I think he will be a world class keeper one day, but maybe not as good as his dad but not far from it.

Fergie has only brought 1 decent keeper since Peter Schmeichel left (Edwin Van der Sar) I have a feeling one day he will come in for Kasper to be Man U number 1.

The only thing Kasper has missing from his dad is he isnt as tall as he was

And he makes too many mistakes and has a bad attitude. Joe Hart is already playing at the very top level. Kasper will never be world class, he's found his level IMO.

I think Joe Hart is more an exception than a rule. Kasper is still young in goalkeeper years and, from what I've seen, he has all the attributes needed. Obviously his shot stopping stands out but he looks more assured when coming for crosses than he did earlier in the season and he has great command of his 18 yard box which is something his Dad was great at. In half a season, we have only seen one goal that was down to him (Burnley away) and even then he wasn't helped by Bamba.

I don't think he'll be as good as his Dad but I think he could definitely play in the PL now and I feel that, in a few years, I'd be surprised if he wasn't playing for a mid to high Premier League team (cue all the 'He won't be at Leicester then' jokes!)

You were very lucky not to concede 2 more goals to Portsmouth because of Kasper. He's a great shot stopper but doesn't have the consistency or all round game to make it in the PL IMO.

Every keep has a dodgy moment from time to time, if they dont get punished it doesn't matter, Paul Rachubka has 4 or 5 dodgy moments per game

But Rachubka's not our first choice 'keeper, is he? The fact Portsmouth couldn't capitalise on Kasper's errors doesn't make him a better player.

He is very lazy, it wouldn't matter if he scored a few but he can't even do that

We tried to warn you guys what a lazy egotistical git he was, scored some good goals for us, but i wasn't bothered when he ****ed off.
maybe you could loan him to Millwall next season to see if he can help them back to the championship:wink:

    I hope you're joking.

So in the 20 or so games he's had for us he flapped at one cross.

This means he doesn't have the consistency or all round game to make it in the PL?

You do talk some **** boy.

So once again you're going to ignore the 30+ games we saw him play? I watched the Portsmouth game and it was just the same old Kasper, making some good saves but coming out for crosses he was never reaching and blaming his defence for it etc. Leicester fans seem content to ignore his flaws, and if that makes you happy that's fine, but I've seen nothing different in Kasper to the good but flawed player we had last year.

I wouldn't say we ignore his flaws, more that we haven't seen the weak aspects of his game (like the fact sometimes he is too eager to come for crosses he shouldn't - but that will improve as he becomes more mature and experienced) that much and they have been very rare occurrences and he has performed consistently well for us. I think based on what we Leicester fans have seen of him - which after all is what we're gonna judge him on rather than how he was for you guys - I would say he's among one of the best in this league.
