I've been willing Beckford to come good for us since he came and I thought he was coming good. But...wussing out of going for a ball because it was near the post and refusing to go up for a free kick? I don't know if there's any way back for him if this is the case.
Alan young is in no doubt about beckford... young has actually played the game professionally ..thats good enough for me.. I have no time for beckford or his like.. if we are able to offload beckford and mills etc...the quicker the better for me...they are poison to team spirit..(thats what gets you out of this league)..im fed up of the ego's and trying to understand these delicate creatures..
If he has refused to listen to Nigel then he cant play for us again end of. If you was a Leicester player today and Beckford wasnt listening to the manager and hasnt doing his part for the team, how would you feel. IF its true then Beckford should be shipped out in the summer
All I can say is regardless of our up & down form I hope no one starts calling for the managers head & that includes Top. This season is now a right off & I just simply can not blame NP for it. It was more than likely going to be the same or worse under SGE if he had stayed the full season, atleast with NP being here half of this season he has had a really good look at what the **** is wrong in the squad, who MUST go & what positions he needs to improve on in the transfer window, he´s got to much carp & players with attitudes. What I´m saying is IF he came back at the start of next season then he´d be waking into a dark room with a wall right infront of the door way not having a clue about the likes of Mills & Beckford. The summer will be a clear out & a half & as I understand Top will stop at nothing to get LCFC in the premiership so NP will have the funds to buy players, he´s just got to make sure he uses the cash right. I´ll give NP untill Xmas before I even starts to ask Q´s, unless we are right down near the bottom of the table that is. Top has also said he´s not in to much of a rush & it will happen one day. I´m really looking forward to the summer TW & next season now, I can´t see us making the P.O´s as I´ve said before in previous post so with things how they are with JB I´d say it´s time Schluup got a chance & a good run in the team.
My concern is we sell becks and mills on the cheap to other championship teams and they come good putting the boot in when it matters against us. We then buy another 10 players and need another season for them to gell! I agree that we now need to blood the youth as the answer may just lie within :undecided
No I mean more players, too many new players in one go would need time to gell. I'm all for getting rid of the unsettled ones shall we say but at a fair price and preferably to a club in another division! I can hope!
We should sign 5 or 6 new players no more A right back Replace Mills 2 centre mids Winger Striker (2 if Beckford goes)
At the beginning of this season I wondered how we were going to accommodate 6 central midfielders. In which case, it is puzzling yesterday that we fielded a side with a central defender and a winger in midfield. Needs sorting.
Rather than sell mills, id rather he sorted himself out. Can say a lot of things about him, but when he played he did wear his heart on his sleeve...
