So wait a minute 2 weeks ago Old scraghead said there was no proof that the word was used and that his player didnt use it.....now he is admitting it and saying he didnt mean it racially LOL it gets more stupid by the day
AT LAST after all this Suarez has apologised. Will it be KD the buffoon next? He got it completely wrong. Better late than never as they say. but wouldn't it have been good if the club had come out very early and said they were sorry and they didn't dcondone that sort of thing and they will ensure that this will never happen again. No they took the side of an "unreliable" player and they got themselves stuck into a corner. Now they are being slowly forced to apologise. KD will soon be forced to apologise too. Great fun (since our team is playing **** at the moment)
It's disgraceful that an innocent Suarez was forced to apologise to satisfy filthy, misguided media pressure.
I first laughed off the suggestions that Dalglish's second reign would end like the first one did: him running away because couldn't handle the pressure. It's getting more likely as we go on except this time it will be even worse. Not just because of the Suarez scandal but also because of expensive donkeys like Carrol, Downing and Adam. And the aging Gerard and Carragher.
There is absolutely no doubt that Dalglish really messed up on this. He may be a good manager and handle football strategy and tactics well. He may also have the pulse of the football fans. He should have left this with the CEO and the media dpet to deal with. In that sense they could taken that burden off him. May be it was not totally his fault, but he dragged his club into the mud. By their inconsistencies, by attacking Evra, by attacking United, the FA, questioning the integrity of an independent panel. They gave the impression that they condoned racial abuse and racial slurs. Looking back, all they needed to do was to state that Suarez did not intend to offend by using the word and that if there was any offense caused he and the club were sorry. This would have been the end of the matter. Instead they went all aggressive and the club players stupidly supported Suarez wearing T-shirts, when they did not know he had said the word. Now the club quite rightly has got the press, the media, the black players and fans and all anti racist groups against it.
