You forgot good on his knees. The closest similarities Bebe has to Ronaldo, his power, pace, and being Portuguese. I don't think Bebe will ever be a world beater, but I think it would be nice if he did get better and became a squad player for us. It would justify some of the transfer fee, would increase his sell on value, and would be a nice end to a story. I think the major reason we signed was because he was homeless. The club is trying to use the "homeless kid" as a marketing ploy.

if that were true, then surely it would be wrong to write off anyone who as ever played football in their lives. which is a moronic philosophy to have,because it means you would have to keep every player youve ever had until they are 24 or 25 just in case they might come good at some point.
I imagine SAF bought Bebe based sorely on the reports of someone he very much trusted. He heard that the lad had real ability and promise and probably was told other clubs were moving on him. Consider this, if Bebe had been top quality and a real find, who wouldn't have been praising SAF's bravery to swoop for the lad given his lack of professional football.
