You must be disappointed only to have taken 1250 fans to Birmingham just down the road. We took over three times that many in our 3-0 win on Friday night which was a comparable distance away.
Our game was on BBC on a sunday afternoon? What is is with Leeds fans and attendances? We know you have good support but I bet we'd have doubled our attendance easy if it had been on a saturday afternoon with it not being on free to view television.
Our game was on Sky on a Friday night and we still sold out without losing any numbers. Away attendances interest me as they tend to be a decent benchmark of how big a club is.
I tend to think of it as how big of a catchment area a club has. You live in the 3rd biggest City in the UK and share it with no other team and you wonder why you get big attendances?!
ANDY nob KING....Before the season started you was posting on other forums how LCFC had only to turn up to win the league....that you would walk it...and before todays game you was counting your chickens before they hatched again with a sure 3 points and 3rd place for LCFC.....nothing against lcfc or fans of lcfc....you just happen to have a Nob called andy kings crown jewels on your board
Look at you on your high horse. Chill out mate, I fully expect my team to win as does every fan with every team.
I'm not having this - AKCJ can't post on their ****ing board but their **** wits can come here and taunt him - I insist this twat is banned from our board
bit like their team this leicester lot, like to give it out but start to when they get some back.Man up you big girls blouses.
lol...... all the best.. with a bit of luck you will avoid relegation this season but it will be a close call
I wasn't 'wondering why we get big attendances', I was wondering why you got such a small one. Guess you're right and all your away fans stayed at home and watched it on the telly. But thanks anyway for reminding me how big and important a city Leeds is.
It was when you said we were the 3rd biggest. Anyway, everyone knows Leeds is the leading financial centre outside of London and one of the country's economic powerhouses so it doesn't really need saying how important the city is, does it?
