Thought Beale spoke excellently again, wants us to be an up and at them pressing team. I really hope the board give him some money to get a couple of key players in. Who is our back up left back if Paal is injured or suspended, surely not Hammelinen, we know he's not up to it and will probably be going back out on loan. 2 more full backs/ wing backs, 1 attacking midfielder and a striker are critical.

Some good food for thought for the players. Telling us things we already know (ie depth of the squad) and putting a range of players right on what is expected of them at this level. Firm but fair. https://www.westlondonsport.com/qpr...es-after-qpr-lose-three-goal-lead-in-friendly
I like his approach here. He's basically getting the players to have the mentality where they take each game really seriously, including friendlies, otherwise get out. It's a good mentality to foster in the squad.
This is his chance to prove himself and to start a serious managerial career, hopefully he’ll get rid of anyone that will prevent him getting to where he wants to be. Too right he’s calling out players for not scoring a one on one.
Interesting words too from MB on the offy site around yesterday and the team, echoing the WLS report above. “Our finishing was sloppy, our final passes were sloppy, there were four or five more goals for us out there.” As Beale prepares to take his squad to Germany for a week’s training camp on Sunday, he has told them what he expects. “I have reminded the players that over a week you can impress me but can you impress me over a month or two months? Can you impress me over the whole of pre-season and can you have a part to play in this dressing room?” All sounds like a carry over from last season. He knows what he has to do now and sounds like he’s definitely going to be asking questions of players if their not giving 100% or what he wants from them. I’m liking the sound of things so far. Let’s see if the players are up to responding.
Always been against the rules to mention Chairs final ball/ shot. But if Beale can change that...Chair will enter the Eze class
Don't think he'll ever be as good as Eze, but his game would be so more effective and consistent by moving the ball quicker and making better decisions.
I like the way that Beale is prepared to say, 'there were more goals out there / we were sloppy'. He's not afraid to say it how it really is whereas others may have deflected any criticisms. he wants more out of what we did, that's a good approach. I like him.
