I guess his reputation will partly be driven by how well he did in managing those U23s teams and the players he developed while coaching there. Just like Guardiola cut his teeth managing the Barca second string. While I'm obviously not saying this guy will be the new Pep, if clubs like Barca can give coaches a first senior managerial job based on the strength of their youth coaching then we shouldn't have any qualms doing the same.
