I have been reading about the Danesfield School in Williton having issues with senior staff and I am wondering what the heck is going on behind the scenes with this Chinese based company? There have been serious questions here in Canada about their activities with some claiming that it doesn't really exist and the potential repercussions of their continued ability to operate without redress is a major concern. During the time when Hong Kong was handed back to China many Canadian further education entities opened up campuses over there to tap into the inevitable brain drain that was to come and they offered Canadian certification for certain disciplines. That all sounds very good but I had the opportunity to visit several science based departments at various universities and they were all 100% Chinese students and I was concerned as to what was actually happening behind the scenes.
Since my retirement I had the opportunity to travel the world and talk to the locals in most places I visited and the influx of Chinese people, particularly students, was a concern because of what may be going on in the background. It is not only the technological areas that have been infiltrated but the attempt to take over many other aspects of other countries infrastructure should also be of concern. Would I be correct in thinking that Huawei installed most of the instrumentation at Hinkley Point when they were well known for having products more than capable of lookin into places where they shouldn't be? It seems odd to me that this school under the Beacon Education brand is located so close to the aforementioned project and I wonder if your new government is aware of or even intend to stop this sinister invasion of all things English? Take a serious look at where the Chinese are infiltrating a lot of struggling economies around the world and tell me it is just a figment of my imagination.
