The British navy is already in the Black sea , in force. One day last week they had 24 RAF aircraft doing fly by's of the remaining Russian fleet just off the Crimea (you may have seen the photos ) & escorting Russian Aircraft back to landward. There's more than enough British fire power deployed in the Black Sea, not counting the Americans, to start and end a war. I think Liz would know that though.

I didn’t see that been away for three weeks and just got back Sunday. Fly bys are one thing but the threat of engagement is something entirely different especially if potential PMs are confirming it is on the table, we are involved in a proxy war with the Russians but I am not sure we want to be in direct conflict yet, although I think it is just a matter of time to be honest.
These interviewers should be very careful with their questions, as careful as politicians should be with answering them.

My assumption is that they are very right wing most reporters have at some point been members of the Tory party.

The monitoring organisations that rank this kind of thing usually place the BBC as a whole slightly left of centre. Which makes sense if you consider the demographic of a lot of their employees, which tend to be urban, educated, and 'middle class'- the type that Jeremy Corbyn appeals to. A lot of the presenters you see on BBC programmes tend to be vocal in their left wing views too. A recent investigation by one of their own investigative reporters concluded that the BBC were very heavily influenced by certain left wing lobby groups. The News department is a slightly different matter though and there have been several prominent journalists/reports/anchors who have been known for their Conservative views.

Standards at the BBC are at an all time low, there are a few exceptions, but usually the recruitment policy is a travesty of political correctness.

The main point is we are in a war now. Its only a matter of time before the West decide enough is enough have a real go at Putin even with the threat of going nuclear..
