don't think it's a 3-pronged attack with those three, as i've said many times. giroud as back up to RVP
 
I'm not concerned that we have three left footed strikers because plenty of world class attacks in the past have been right footed strikers. It's only because left footed is unusual that you've really picked up on it.

Besides, RVP scores just as many with his right foot as his left.

The goal he scored for the dutch last night with his right was a peach. I had to rewatch the goal to make sure he hit it with his right. He hit it with much velocity!

Exactly, it doesn't really matter which foot is stronger as long as the other foot is also excellent. Cristiano is supposedly right footed but you'd never know. From what relatively little I've seen of Podolski and Giroud both of them are pretty good on either foot.

I direct quote taken from RVP's father and reported by Sky Sports, ESPN and Setanta and Eurosport is hardly a random comment. He was completely forthright in dismissing the option of staying in the PL - as opposed to not being sure.

They're reporting that Girard said that, but their sources are why they print it instead of it just being an unsubstantiated comment/rumour like the tabloids print every tick of the clock. Which is why you can't name an incident where the BBC have reported this kind of stuff and been wrong.

Put the Daily Mail down, get the **** out of here, go back to ****ing school and don't come back here chatting **** until you've learnt the first thing about how the media works. People like you breed the next generation of kids who can't understand how to filter media messages and let themselves get directed around like ****ing sheep.

I said what I have to say, the proof is there for all to see who is a clown and who isn't.

Now, to move on and get back back to the thread. The BBC have reported that we are on the verge of buying Giroud, based on an interview given to another media organisation :)

It IS good news because anything that gives us a different option up front is important, for too long now we have either been one dimensional or had ineffective strikers. If Gervinho can repeat the beginning of last season and we keep RVP thats a potentially phenomenal front line. That said .. if we lost RVP but bought a decent AM - I still think thats a decent enough front line.
