In general they are right. I can't not see the chavs winning, they have finally bought a striker and Fabregas is a great signing. City, well they will always be right up there, but I don't think they have improved. Arsenal can compete if players stay fit. Ozil will have his 2nd season and Sanchez is a very good buy. 4th is between us and utd imo. I think a lot of people on here need to be a bit more realistic, our 1st team is weaker than it was last season with losing Suarez, yes our squad might be a bit better, but we are not going to progress from last season. If utd make some more important signings I could see them overtake us.
I thought that as well. Nice for Martinez that he's got his prime target signed up but there wasn't any competition for him either, was there? I wonder how motivated he will be now that he's not trying to impress Mourinho. I never saw him play last season but have read comments from blues that he is a bit lazy!! Guess we'll find out. He should be up there with top scorers. Martinez also has to cope with second season syndrome!
