    Apparently Club 9 are not bidding. Brian Kennedy is. Whytey has said (according to D&F) he will not stand in the way of any takeover.

    4 or 5 bids expected. At least 2 want to go the newco route. 2 (TBK & Kennedy) want to go the CVA route. Apparently there is also some kind of hybrid option where a newco will trade through the existing company - whatever the **** that means.

    Pay attention because this will all change anytime within the next 5 minutes.

    What's yer favourite Syd James laugh?

    There's one in either Carry on Dick or Carry on Don't Lose Your Head that's a bit of a standout - he's dressed as a woman and beguiling Kenneth Williams (who's either Camembert or the guy chasing Dick Turpin).

    As he turns around with Williams waving at him all lovestruck, he lets out the craftiest "Hyear, hyear, hyaaarrgh" ever recorded.

    Gets me every time <ok>

    Brian Kennedy says he'll wait to see who preferred bidder is before submitting late offer. He won't bid against Blue Knights.


    That would kinda suggest he's not bidding.

    Yeah, heard that on Radio Scotland. It seems he is happy to let the BK's have it but is keeping a watching brief to bid against the others who prefer the liquidation route as he is "fiercely opposed" to that way out of administration.

    But how will he know who the administrator's preferred bidder is until all the bids are in and have been analysed, by which time the deadline will have passed?

    Or is the 5pm deadline another crock of **** like the last deadline?
