And boy, can Jos score! How many has he put away in the last few seasons? Loads! Oh, ....in the opponent's net? ....he's a really nice guy!
I've had a night to sleep on it. I am probably one of the few fans who don't hold out much hate any more. Yes, he was my favourite player of the modern era (post Le God) Yes, I trusted him and genuinely believed he would follow Le God in his loyalty Yes, he let me down and, Yes i want him to fail at Liverpool. But, No I wont be booing him and I don't hold any residual hatred towards the man. I work in recruitment and put it into my terms. I have always said to my manager that I would never take another job in recruitment... ever... because i hate the industry. However, if a global company offered me the chance to head up a division on a salary treble what i am on right now... i'd probably be tempted.
No but I could argue that publicly, neither has Lallana. And at least he did eventually spare a thought for us with what (had it been Lambert or Shaw) is actually quite a big gesture... 28 words or more. He was clearly told what to say re: his first interviews, as they all are. He knew he needed to make a big impression with (arguably) one of the biggest fan bases in the world. If he sat there and cooed over Southampton then it wouldn't send the right message to his new fan base... I'm not denying he is an untrustworthy piece of sh1t. He went about it all the wrong way. But you cant deny the 14 years of service he put in to the club (including volunteering not to be paid in the dark days) and completely write him off of our club history.
OK, we'll take Coutinho off your hands for a few bob, you don't really need him now you have Twatbeard.
"LIVERPOOL NEW-BOY SHOWS OOZES CLASS WITH THIS MOVE" apparently. http://www.footballfancast.com/prem...ool-new-boy-shows-oozes-class-with-this-move? the internet used to be a good thing. now ben coldwell can get published
Rocking out in Belgium for the last week it seems like maybe I've missed something. Adam going was on the cards for ages and that he's gone is not a surprise. All I know is that he's gone to Liverpool...I don't know how much for, or why everyone seems to hate him so much. What happened? Was it a messy breakup?
Threatened to go on strike, slagged off our players more than once, said in an interview that he spent half of last season wishing he played for Liverpool. Then, his farewll message to the fans was a half page picture of himself, accompanied by a birthday card message. The lack of goodwill messages from any of the players is fairly telling also.
I think we should tell Morgan and Dejan that we intend to hold them to their contract because too many have left...with a possible review next season. The trouble is that I suspect Morgan will then knuckle down and do his best, but I'm not so sure about Lovren.
