This morning it was O'Neils job...later in the day the favourite was Hughes. Now they are saying Sunderland are courting both Hughes and O'Neil.

Talk about hedging you bets...they haven't got a clue

I suspect Short is going to interview both and see who he likes best. That's generally what happens in most jobs. Its kind of a good tactic because their will be the inevitable how much do you want question and I guess that will be a factor in the decision, if both want the job and know they are in competition with one another they might go in lower to sway the decision?

Smart move by Short, the guy does always seem to know what he is doing business wise.
