Wasn't Killing Jokes "Change" released as a 10".(probably both ?) Follow the Leader was a 12" Neither of my copies, would i "change" into an ashtray. Ha ! (see what i did there?)
Your correct, i was picturing the "Ha" 10" Album (1982), and Change isn't even on there ! Wardance and Phyche are though, brilliant tunes. Did you see them play at Spring St, back in the day ? (82 i think)
I saw them at the Welly. The last time there was a conversation about Killing Joke on here, someone mentioned that the Welly gig was one of the best he'd ever been to, I mentioned that I was there that night and he said 'I know, you signed me in'. Turned out it was an old mate I hadn't seen for about thirty years.
I don't know about Swanny as I don't get to listen to Humberside, but I quite like Burnsy interviews I have heard on BBC and Tiger player, he does seem to ask the right questions, and making it entertaining. Though I get the feeling he much prefers to interviewing SB rather than NB or NP.
As does Neil Mann, maybe it's the fact they already have jobs & Swanny is a media type as opposed to not feeling comfortable. Really he's harmless enough even if he supports someone else. It's the old Devils Advocate thing as opposed to a 100% love in & how great we are.
Did anyone hear the interview with the Grimsby joint-manager last night? He was asked if it was his decision to leave a player out and he snapped "Well it wasn't anybody else's." Bit of a stupid question I guess but his pissiness in responding just reminded me of NP. Saying that NP used to be slower and more sarcastic and not even really know where he was going with some of his drones...
