Maybe a little, but the point is that we are not competing in the same market or the same country, comparing the prices we charge is a little dubious.
It was your choice to buy an ST when we moved stadiums so what are you moaning about.I certainly wouldn't be wasting my money on an ST given the number of games you seem to miss
It's my choice, but it's the team I support, so doesn't mean they have to charge so much. So that's a dumb argument by you, many other fans don't have a choice and are priced out of the game, what are they supposed to do? Anyways, just because you 'choose' to buy the ticket, doesn't justify the high prices, it's our team, off course we're going to buy tickets to watch the game, so again, a sh!t argument.
You choose to buy a season ticket, don't use it for a proportion of the season and then moan about how much it costs you.You obviously can't think it's that expensive I would never buy a season ticket as I couldn't justify buying one
Where have I said you don't use it for the majority of the games,I just said you don't use it for a proportion of the season.
You do know that this isn't an Arsenal subsidy. It comes out of a grant of £200k that the PL gives each club to do this, so costs Arsenal precisely nothing as they don't get the grant if they don't spend the money.
Thanks for clarifying, here is a link to confirm this £200k story and shows you what the different clubs do with the money. It confirms that Arsenal uses it to subsidise the away fan tickets by £2.50. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...at-Premier-League-clubs-spending-200k-on.html. "Fans will receive a £2.50 discount on every remaining away Premier League match ticket. The club will also provide away supporters with a £10 refreshments voucher at an away fixture this Christmas and invest in the away end at the Emirates." Some clubs offer better deals such as: Aston Villa: Offering travelling supporters free coach travel for ten games this season, starting with their match against Hull City on October 5. Cardiff City: Will subsidise 30 coaches for Norwich City away so fans only have to pay £5. The club are also looking into other deals. Fans travelling to Cardiff should also check out the club's Away Fan Guide. Fulham: Provide four free coaches at every Premier League away game. The club will also hand out free away tickets to junior season ticket holders and members. Manchester City: Manuel Pellegriniâs staff and first-team squad have chipped in to the offer. Half-price tickets will be on offer to season-ticket holders at selected away games. Games will be chosen if a considerable travelling distance is involved or it falls in a series of games taking place during a short period of time. Manchester United: Consulted the Fansâ Forum and knocked £4 off the price of every away ticket bought by a United fan, starting with the Fulham game on November 2. Stoke City: Offering free coach travel to away fans for all Premier League fixtures. This has already resulted in the Potters taking a club record number of fans to Anfield for a Premier League fixture. Sunderland: Subsidising away tickets at certain fixtures by £10 and improving the concourse, signage and bar areas for travelling fans. The Black Cats will also produce 40,000 guidebooks for visiting fans with things to see and do while in the area.
Don't forget some of those teams don't have anywhere near the away support that Arsenal have so I would argue with you saying that they are giving their fans better deals.
Worth noting that Bayern are a German team and thus operating in an entirely different economy. Particularly worth noting that the average price to watch a game in the Bundesliga is far lower than in the EPL.
