Let's say Zagreb win, they will be on 6 pts, if we beat them, we are level on points, and then we beat the Greeks, we will be on 9, and Zagreb must beat Munich, which I highly doubt. Similar situation with Olympiakos, if they lose today, they're on 6, play Munich next, and hardly doubt they will win, let's assume they draw, that's 7 points, we beat them, we go on 9. So basically, we have to win our next 2 games and we should be fine.
I knew we would lose today, so I'm not frustrated, my thinking coming for tonight was hopefully Olympiakos do not win, that is the most vital part of the night, if they don't win, we just have to win both games, if they do win, then we have to not only beat them, but basically better their result at the Emirates.
We needed Sanchez at his best if we were to get anything here tonight. He's been poor so far, as has Giroud.
**** this game, the Olympiacos game is where is at, the result in that game going in our favour so far.
Yes sir, this game is practically meaningless if the other game stays the same, or ends in a draw, . Our win against Munich was a 6 pointer.
So much for a draw being the most likely result lol, we are playing the best team in Europe, with a depleted side, some people don't seem to want to accept how bad our injury crisis is. And we only have ourselves to blame.
Ironically enough even if we get beaten 4-5 zero, we still have a chance of progression if Olympiakos loses (which they are)
Campbell has helped Debuchy out and Guardiola spotted this and switched Costa to the other wing. Sanchez has done **** all to protect Monreal. If I was Nacho I'd be fuming.
Nothing to lose now. Bayern are defensively suspect but we haven't held possession enough to test them and when we do have a legit goal, it's ruled out as per usual. Count one against Zagreb, one against Olympiakos and now against Bayern too.
