It doesn't work like that though. We need to go into EVERY game with the right intent to win it, instead of thinking this game is less any important. As stated, if we pull it off in Munich it will be one of the greatest comebacks in this comp for a while and would give us a massive shot in the arm. Bonstar has got it right We might as well not turn up at all if we were to go into this game thinking the tie was already over.
Wilshere is our fighter, without him, who the F will rouse our troops? Lets hope this is just a rumour and that he's playing.
All the optimists should get down the bookies, there's a killing to be made! 8/1 available for the win in 90mins and 30/1 on Betfair to Qualify. Whats that old saying about "a fool and his money" though!
The tragic state of our team really. Before we had a team full of fighters, now we have.....Wilshere.....that's it. He's 21 and already head and shoulders above everyone else. I just hope we don't become another Liverpool heavily reliant on Wilshere, the same way they were with Gerrard. Let's hope this poor season will kick Wenger and the Board into action before we drop out of the top 4 and no longer become relevant.
My friends, we haven't kept a single clean sheet against any big team this year, not to mention the fact that Bayern scored 3 on our own ground, so what makes people think we're going to get 3 goals with no reply???????? Or that we're going to be capable of winning by a 3 goal margin if Munich score, which means we need either 4 or 5 goals, and who really thinks we're going to be capable of that. I'd love to be optimistic right now, but I just don't see it, Bayern's 3rd goal killed the tie off, at 2-1 MAYBE there would be a small chance, at 2-2, even better, but alas, Giroud didn't score that golden opportunity.
