After the first goal there was hardly any pace or aggression , the passing was sometimes ****in shocking. At the 70 min marker we had STILL only had one shot. Anyone that is actually happy with that as a performance is way out of line. Same old Arsenal , dont start playing till its too ****in late.!!!
As for Arteta, his fouls at the end were stupid and a player of his experience should have known better. Other than that, I think he's a quality player being played out of position. He's not quick enough to be a box to box player and if we're going to continue with a 3 man midfield then I think we need to buy a proper enforcer in that role
Fabianski deserves a mention tonight. He did just about everything right and made a couple of very good saves

Jenko is my new favourite player. Wilshere for captain, Jenko for vice. Wanyama in to replace Arteta, Cesar in goal, Benteke up top... BOSH! Would even take a punt on Torres if chelsea are that desperate to get rid.
He's good to have in the squad, very good back up, experienced, but I do think we need someone with more quality to replace him in midfield as a starter.
Arteta was being a complete cock in the final minutes there. Awards aren't won on coming close and ultimately like last year you blew it in the first leg. Still, you guys don't look likely to be in the CL next year, so that was a very respectable way to sign out if that is the case. No English teams make the quarter final for the first time since 1996, hard to deny we're all getting weaker.
Also, Gerv and Oxo were good when they came on. I'd consider them for the ganme against the sheep shaggers.
WE have to maintain this same intensity to get into the top 4, but our consistency has been off. Again, we will see if we can handle the pressure to capture a top 4 spot.
