Like some on here I have pissed in the portakabins, got soaked in the Shed and a sore arse sat in the old West.I remember those days with affection but I don't want to relive them like some appear to want.
RA wants to build us a state of the art iconic stadium and just wants to get a portion of the money back from the sale of SB.I see no problem with that at all.

We have to be realistic and admit that we will almost certainly be building and relocating to a new, bigger and better stadium sooner or later. 60,000 seater, State of the art high tech stadium and if it will be Battersea then we're in a landmark site (in SW London) with a huge area for development to make the club maximum revenue.

I would like us to move to Battersea for selfish reasons. Firstly, the Northern Line is a thrown stow away from from my house (wonder if District will have any problems with purchasing naming rights <laugh>). Secondly, my Uncle owns a flat literally opposite the power station and there is a pub right next to him. Will be able to pop in for a snack and few drinks both before and after the match, then some dinner and that's my day sorted.

No it's easier for me as well as I'm right at the beginning of the Northern Line.

Will keep my name though, can't have the world Northern in my name <laugh>

So Chelsea are going south of the river. Given their history it would make more sense for Arsenal to go there and Spurs and Chelsea to share the Emirates.

Battersea for me has always been the best propect for relocation - its in our catchment area, plenty of scope for development and the landmark feature of the chimneys would give the stadium a distinctive look instead of being another lame caketin.
