stoke-on-trent
terrible decisions, should have had a penalty, never a second booking, I could go on but im too pissed off. well played today stoke, unfortunately we were up against 12 men today

Not seen it Ric, I will watch it on MOTD, so I can't comment but it does appear to be a harsh decision to send ShawX off and once down to 10 it makes it hard to come back. I would have been happy with a draw beforehand but now I think we need to win next week against Fulham then get a point at WBA in order to seal 10th and obtain our highest points total in the PL. Let's hope so.

Didn't see the game but I listened to it and your brief description sounds right.

Well I am pleased to advise I telephoned the FA last week about Ramires forearm smash on Larsson and yesterday had another conversation about Adebayor elbowing Shawcross. If Mariner had had any balls or saw the incident he would have sent him off. I told the FA that although a foul had been given, Mariner could not possibly have seen the incident given he did not even speak to Adebayor. On MOTD it showed the elbow but the camera was not at the best angle. I also understand that Chris Kamara on Goals on Sunday stated that there were not so many cameras at Stoke on Saturday as it was not a featured game. So if the game is featured or televised it means that anybody can expect 'trial by television.' So in my view not a level playing field!

I went on to say to the FA is there any chance that the public can see a referee's report. The response was that FIFA do not allow that. No surprise there really, but I added that FIFA are so corrupt the paying public and the countries staging World Cup events get nothing in return. They keep all the monies and do not help developing nations!

Anyway I thought it a great performance by the team on Saturday when we played Spurs and Mariner and after the sending off we really had chances to score. N'Zonzi, Peter Odemwingie and Arnie all could have done better.

It all augurs well for next season.

I only saw MOTD highlights and I think Stoke were unlucky with some of the decisions by Mariner and I did think Arnie perhaps should have done better with his chance in the 2nd half. I always respect the views of supporters who attend the games and it does appear that Stoke were unlucky to come away with nothing from the game.
