Barry Bannan is a good player and his loan wouldn't have been cheap. Livermore wouldn't have been cheap either, to be subbed at half-time for two games running.
That's your opinion. That's one player, wow. I hope Grayson jacks it's in because he just won't win with some people and working with that bollocks bates can't be easy either.
Livermore looked pants & Bannan had the ability but seemed to have a bit of an attitude. So who would you bring in then being a realist? Who would work for Bates on a Shoe string budget? To me the problem is clear and its Bates. He needs to go then give Grayson a fair crack & if it doesnt work out then so be it.
Perhaps. Perhaps the use of the loan system was a brilliant move by Grayson bringing back players ready for this season when they wouldnt have been ready for the first team. Imagine if we didnt have the above players in the squad now ?
How do you know it will be a so called Shoe string budget? We have one biggest wages. Who says he will not back a better person some one who he can trust???
Cant be sure blue can I? But as Bates has shown (or managed to hide) we dont actually make money and we dont seem to invest money made back into the team maybe Bates doesnt trust Grayson with money and lets face it his signings have been more miss than hit, but I cant see him digging into his own personal fortune for anyone let alone Leeds United Football Club.
For all we know, their parent clubs subsidized the whole loan move. Its in their interest as much as ours, after all. I'm not convinced that we spent much at all on either of those players. It was because of the fact that we loaned them that they became better players, not despite it.
