What do you mean he was not on the bench ? He has been on the bench a number of times and still not used....
He wasn't on the bench Saturday, turnip brain. He's fit. He's been in training. We used a U23 against Spurs because he wasn't on the bench then either!
Agree with all this, managers are a problem with the issue of favourites, plus coaching and training staff standards are poor, Baston hasn't been given enough time to gain confidence and form, though this has been compounded by some very bad management this season, especially Bob Bradley wasted period where we hit unbelievable new lows, Baston came to us with a season of turmoil, from the very start, shame really as his stats record is very good in Lalega.............
If we are able to wiggle our way out of relegation by seasons end , I hope we keep Baston and work on him during the summer . To sell him would mean ditching a player , who has had little opportunity to play with us , for probably a very cut rate price and he may go on to be a great player elsewhere . If we get relegated , he's going for peanuts anyway . Given the relaxed time over the summer and the probability of Llorente moving on , I think Clement might straighten Baston out to be our # 1 striker . Just a thought .
If we pull out of this , I can't see him not being with us , I could be wrong though . Clement had to deal with injuries the last bit and I think the hierarchy know that . Just my take .
Sorry the guy is a total unknown to Swans fans If I saw him in the street I would walk past him. Bafa on the other hand i would recognise anywhere. You are being very unfair to Gomis he did what was asked. He also scored vital goals for us and I for one would feel a little bit easier if we had him on the bench going into the final games of the season. And by the way he holds the record for the fastest hat trick in Champions League history (7 mins) so if there are more **** players like him about can we have one please.
