That was about the sum of what I'd heard too, and something along the lines of Bassong not knowing who Adams was, in front of most of the players. Again, only rumour.
As I recall, DH, the rumour was that he said "Are we supposed to know who you are?" when Adams came into a team meeting.

only thing to do is get him out on loan and get someone to pay part of his contractual pay and minimise the impact
