Had Joey Barton not had the luck to play football he would no doubt have ended up a victim on the end of a pensioners knife

Prediction: He will lose his job prior to the first regular season match for abusing his own players.

Good luck Joey. One colossal cock-up (we should have won or drawn that game!!) but otherwise some good memories and you were a trier.

Yeh, good luck Joey. A very good player for us, especially after his season away in Marseille.

I would not be surprised if he makes a good manager and returns to QPR one day.

I would imagine it'll either be a roaring success or an unmitigated disaster - either way I can't imagine it not being fairly well documented in the press. If there is one thing JB is good for it's column inches. Has he coached anywhere during his suspension or is this a move straight into management?

I think we should be supporting whoever Fleetwood are playing.

Hope he does well and I predict at least one touch line fight in the first season

He's got the intellect to be a decent manager, and will motivate his players - but I suspect eventually, the red mist will descend big time and that will be the end of his managerial career
