I agree with this. Barton was incredibly naive yesterday. He knows he's let down the very team he captains. If it's any comfort, I don't believe we'll have a repeat of this idiocy from him this season. And with the bottom of the division so critically balanced, he could be vital in the run up to the end of the season, on the pitch and in the dressing room. So I just hope fans move on and continue to support the whole team for the remainder of the season.
This is what you get with Barton, and most of us knew it when he was signed up. What drives him forward, also on occasion, can damage him and the team.
I've always said you see far more on a stream than you do being at the game...

Queens credibility is not a word I would associate with yourself after last week. And yet again you crank it up after a few drinks. Back to Barton. I believe his contract is up this summer along with 8 or so others. I wonder if this will damage his chances of a new one.
If Barton played for another club the number of QPR fans trying to say he was unlucky, going on about his 'reformed character', how important he is as a leader etc etc would be close to zero.
We'd be laughing our nuts off (pun intended) and calling him what he is - a ****er.

To us on the outside, who haven't really seen these youngsters play, it seems like a gamble. But CR obviously has faith in players like Doughty and Furlong and to be fair, they look good prospects to me.
I just feel that our huge injury list may be the thing that prevents us from staying up. Barton has now added to that problem for the next three games.
