Shame, as he is just what we need in our midfield to add some steel.

Only King Eric has had a longer domestic ban; that was for kung fu kicking some objectionable tw*t- which you can understand members of the FA would be very touchy about

I'm sure Barton will console himself by tweeting about what Nietzsche had to say on behaving like a prize pillock. I'll give him his starter for ten: "To predict the behaviour of ordinary peoole in advance, you only have to assume that they will always try to escape a disagreeable situation with the smallest possible expenditure of intelligence." Just like Joey <doh>

Luke, you know the derision that the "King" handle brings around here. A good player, yes. A fair actor, maybe, but king? Please!

....although Joey is King Dumbass....

Evening notsosmartspur - sort your inbox out sunshine, I am trying to get through to you with a pm <laugh> <ok>

I detect a slight note of sarcasm.

You'd bloody hope so. "Sorry Scott, Sandro, Jake, Tom - you're all triffic lads but I think we need something a bit more fighty/banny/generally ****y in the middle of the park".

If one moment of Sandro's progress was held up by that little twat coming to Spurs I'd bite my own foot off and spit it at the wall.

parker has a long way to go before he can match the standards of barton and while sandro may be showing great potential, he could learn alot from barton and maybe they could be great pals off the pitch as they both seem to be into martial arts.

What could he learn from Barton - wannabe Morrisey hairstyles, spending more time on Twitter than in anger management, and how to protect yourself in the prison shower?

How to channel your aggression in the right way and take one for the team.
