Barton signals with his right arm up a deadballs. take it this signal is the 'sh#t delivery'. Comparing Taraabt to barton at set pieces is like comparing fillet steak to asdas own brand burgers! Igor can agree with what you are saying but appreciate all opinions on this geezer.

Can't believe the comments that Barton was one of the better players yesterday. Bottled nearly every challenge, gave the ball away many times, awful dead ball play and should heve been sent off for a reckless lunge near the end. And even assuming he was better than the rest (which he wasn't) his poisoning of team spirit is pretty clear for all to see now. Shaun Derry in a bath chair would have a more positive impact.

Well i have to have i? All i am saying that show me how many goals Taarabt has scored or deliveried from deadball situations.....? Yes Barton is a controversial and somewhat arrogant player with big wages and he has not set the loftus road on fire in his time on here ,thats absolutely true. One thing i dont understand is that EVERYTHING seems to be his fault in our slide to the bottom. Some posters even hope career ending injury to him!!!!!! FFS i dont hope that to anyone and its very childish to hope such thing to happen. I have seen all our matches this season and Bartons performances have been from weak to good but even when he have had a decent display some of here are ready to lynch him. By the way the deadball situations and set pieces have been big problem here long before Bartons time so nothing new here.

We're a team full of individuals lead by a clueless, average idiot. Says it all.

You're defending the indefensible mate! Barton has poisoned the team spirit. He constantly moaned at Taarabt yesterday for not passing to him. If I was Taarabt I wouldn't pass to him either, as I would be confident of doing so much better with the ball. You could see Adel's confidence shrinking with every bollocking he got from our esteemed captain. It may be a point that Taarabt should be able to rise above it, but we need him performing....end of. Barton chickens out of challenges, lets players walk passed him and is absolutely awful at dead ball kicks. Taarabt should take them....again, end of! Towards the end, the crowd were getting on Barton's back and telling him to leave Taarabt alone, along with a chorus of "what the ****ing hell was that?" following another awful corner. Says it all really!!

Well ,i feel like fighting against windmills here so i stop defending him and from now on ignore JB in my posts. Before that i just ask is it right to hope career ending injury to your own teams player or any player in any team really?

Want Derry back as our captain please. He was shouting - moaning - sloppy passes - giving ball away - please drop him.

It might not be right but neither was signing him in the 1st place. I want us to succeed and the only way I can see that happening is if Barton and Kenny arent playing.

Of course on the other hand, I could ask is it right to want Barton to play even if that means we go down.

No...I didn't agree with Flyer's comment. And I apologies for telling you that you were talking **** mate (I've calmed down a bit now). You are entitled to your opinion about Barton and anything else!!

I consider myself the premier anti Barton fan on here as my heart sunk where NW signed him but even I have to keep faith and give him a chance but of course he hasn't got it's a player nor ever has he IMO
But yesterday apart from the Adel attack he did OK in open play

I pray he leaves in the summer but as one of the Norwich fans said about him and others who would buy him ?
    I pray it Leeds
    Get out of London Barton

Sadly, I don't think Leeds with Warnock in charge would touch him with a bargepole...

Why is Joey Barton still the captain he has done very little for the club, his lack of goof free kicks, corners and the discipline that he as shown in all but one match so far. Makes you wonder why MH still has him as the captain, if we are to stay in the premier league we need players that are committed to the cause, not someone that is more interested in taking the fans and the team for granted. Another thing that MH continues to get wrong in my opinion is his reluctance to play Radek Cerny he proved in the games that he played last year that he can make brilliant saves unless MH is brave we may have to plan for championship football next season (I don't want that nor do any loyal QPR fans).

I take issue with that DT. I think you'll find that I was first to stick my head above the parapet when he was signed. I don’t bang on about him all the time because it just gets boring.

I agree with all that. Plus he doesn't track back when he's screwed up. And he should encourage Taraabt rather than barrack him. Yesterday, he made some good tackles and interceptions and then spoilt it by passing to the opposition. Not worth £70k a week or anywhere near it.

Other than the fact that everyone continually slagging off Barton is unedifying and really boring, the reason I've kept my counsel on the Barton front is because I promised Northolt I would! How bizarre is that?

You were 100% right Roller. However, a lot of us had reservations about his effect OFF the pitch....I for one didn't foresee how ****e he would be ON IT!!

Same here, we all knew he was a twat but at least we were expecting a good footballer, now weve got a twat who wouldnt even be considered good in the NPC.
