So because he believes that QPR are going down and when he was in the team they managed to stay in the premier league, he couldn't return despite the fact he has a contract paying him a few million a year. Therefore he wants to stay at Marseille.

Is he for real. What an incredibly stupid thing to say. If I was running Marseille - I'd refuse to consider him on principle.
 
The thing that gets to me is the fact this is going to be on football focus. I swear I've seen sections of the program taken up by this goon on a couple of occasions before. The BBC really are clueless, repeatedly giving airtime to an absolute moron.
