I didn't offer to drive Jamie anywhere and I wouldn't have dreamt of doing so. However, I am prepared to step up to the plate and drive Barton to West Ham. Could I request that he be sedated beforehand? (I wouldn't want him to headbutt me or similar.)
It would be just our luck if this move happened that Barton would play a barn-stormer in our next encounter with the Hammers and score a couple of goals to boot.

Couldn't care less if he does. Barton out of the dressing room would gain us more points in the long term. Anyone who pays him to wear their club colours is an idiot. (And the world is full of them.)
