Pioneer is clearly coming to terms with the fact that Norwich v Parma in a pre-season friendly is as big as a competitive league game in the lower echelons of English football.

I'm still surprised that you could care less about a pre season friendly, when you’re approaching your opening league fixture. To be honest, I’ve not been bothered about any of your friendly games, and I’d be even less so (if that’s possible) if our league campaign kicked off before yours. I’m interested to see how you get on in the league, but friendly matches mean jack. I still don’t get why an expression of surprise is an “epic fail”, either. Hampy may think I’m wrong in my opinion, but how that constitutes a ‘fail’, I don’t know. Anyway, as I said, always happy to disagree.
