    Its like I've said Weighty, some people just will not forgive and forget!

    Sick and tired of the same old drivel surrounding Bowyer. He is now a reformed character with a young family and all he wants to do now is help get us promoted. Rehabilitation and redemption are words that some people just don't understand!

    If we could get Barton, I'd be ecstatic. Sure, he's got a past, but he's a damn fine footballer and I am more than willing to watch my team do well with him in the side.

    Either way, he's not going to end up here!

    Or even just admit that there is a chance that he could be a better man than he was a boy.

    <doh> Racists just make my blood boil, I'm sure people do change their attitude but that's the kind of belief system that people don't grow out of usually.

    :headbang::headbang::headbang:

    I was not there so i can not say weather or not it was racially motivated although it was horrible what happened whatever the motivation.
    It is my experience that people can change an awful lot in 15 years.

    Also Barton admitted assault occasioning actual bodily harm on Frenchman Ousmane Dabo do you think this could be racially motivated i don't know but your insight must be better than mine.

    So, can we not offer barton, say 80k a week? That equates to just over £4m for the year. That'll probably go a long way to getting us promoted. Bowyer & Barton...yes please.

    Maybe it's the sort of thing that could happen in January to strengthen if we're looking promising - but it would be a disaster to fork out that kind of money and not even make the play-offs. Everything is very encouraging but there are no guarantees because West Ham have Parker and Nolan in the middle of the park for them - not everyone can go up!

    If Barton was looking for a thuggish team, he'd join Birmingham and hook up with Marlon King.

    I don't see why, if West Ham could attract Nolan - if Town were top of the table come Christmas we couldn't attract someone like Barton in January. I can see why he wouldn't join Norwich: because there's been no ambition in the summer signings.

    What do you mean no ambition Hampy, can't you see clearly that they are building a side to challenge for the championship playoffs in the 2012/13 season!

    I don't think so - they have cottoned onto how to win a 'trophy' and are building a side to win League One in 2013-2014.

    Yep, just surprised you'd rank a friendly along side you're opening fixture.
