Cos it used to start on Saturday evenings, after the six o clock news.

 

I listened to Barton on 606, and I've got to say he fully managed to live up to expectations...That is as a dysfunctional, semi-literate twat!

 

I thought he interviewed alright, he had some cockney liverpool supporter screaming at him down the phone but he avoided making it a petty shouting contest, made his point clear.

 

I thought he came across as been a bit thick to be honest...Every one of his sentences seemed to end with "you know what I mean", which just came across the radio really badly...He probably only agreed to do the interview because it was with a fellow dickhead Robbie Savage, as any half decent sports reporter would have asked him questions which he would have struggled badly with...

About his past behaviour; why he dived like a little girl when a couple of fingers brushed his face; did he think a penalty should have been awarded when he dragged the Arsenal player off the ground by his neck and shirt whilst the game was still in play?..There's a few to be going on with..

 

1. Why the **** would you ask that, it was about Saturday's events.

2. He answered this, he said it was to show the ref that he hit him.

3. True, though they did bring up the fact that he stopped a Newcastle attack by doing his actions. Admittedly, nobody has mentioned that in the 2 hours that 606 was on.

 

Listening through it on the website (didn't listen live), and the Bolton fan was one of the best callers on the show, starting the show by making a joke 'O, I forgot, I can't talk to you because we're in the top 6!'.

**** me, if we do that every week we might not come across as ****s.
