I'd be interested to know if he can be loaned abroad. I'd imagine he can.

Loan him to an Australian club. Gets him out of the limelight and he'd fit in with the convicts.

I'm divided on this to be perfectly honest. Have not decided yet as to which side of the fence I'll eventually fall down on. Re my post, I'm fond of swimming upstream in **** creek so there you have it :smiley-finger007:

I think Rangers would be a much better fit. There or West Sham.

Not a Bradley Johnson fan myself. Won't be long until Barton gets drunk and kicks some poor guy in the head and kills him, hardly a stretch.

Rangers are skinto swords and have a complete transfer embargo I think?

    The real options are -

Fine him. Leave him at home for a third of the season picking up wages

Loan him out. No other league abroad will match his wages and questionable talent but Glasgow is surely his destination. Big tweeting fish in a small puddle

We have moved on as a club. TF/Amit/Mittals want us as a global brand and a bright future. We at QPR do not need that mug to represent our club.
    WE must get rid asap!

Over the top punishment, should've been 7 games.

    Hope he stays

It is for f**k sakes! He Elbowed Tevez in the face, kneed Aguero, and was looking for fights with the other players!

You're club is far better than the image of Barton, you don't need him and you can certainly afford better. He nearly cost you your Premiership status. He will hurt you again too. He's not worth it. QPR is too good for Barton

TBH swords I agree with skinners here that Barton is reaping the nature of his reputation in part however as our club captain ex England player and experienced pro he should walk away from these confrontations and grow up. Why retaliate?

It's the club and us the fans who now have our club captain out for a third of next season and that is unacceptable

No surprises here regarding the FA and of course most know my view on Barton. Signed by a toss pot, upset the club from day one, overpaid, some dreadful performances a couple of goals, a **** load of twitter. Two sendings off and a 12 match ban

How dies any QPR fan think this man is quality ... The most disgraceful player to play for us. He doesn't and never has cared about us

Don't care where he goes as long as we don't see him again.

Easy DT it's a lovely evening, open a nicely chilled Zinfandel and kick back in the garden

That's exactly what JB's doing right now

Reputation proceeds us all in life. I think its correct to give a harsher punishment to a repeat offender as opposed to a first timer.

The only regrettable thing is that they can't kick him out the game altogether.

It was nowhere near as bad as Thatcher's which genuinely could have broken the bloke's neck. The elbow was bad, of course, but nowhere near bad enough to justify Tevez rolling around on the floor. The Aguero knee was pathetic- it wouldn't have floored a five year-old. Lescott pushed his face towards Kompany and it made no contact anyway. Balotelli approached him and came on the pitch when it had nothing to do with him.

Again, I'm not saying he innocent or even close to being so but I think he's been overly harshly dealt with and I don't think the same punishment would have been meted out to any other player.

Whatever the rights and wrongs, he's out for 3 months, we will strengthen midfield over the summer, he won't get back in the team anyway. In addition to Wubba's options there is also the behind closed doors negotiation which leaves him a free agent and us with no further obligation, the extremely expensive option of paying off his contract in full, or the cancel his contract and take the legal consequences option.
He doesn't fit the image and I'd be very surprised if he plays for us again.
