Take away the 3 points they all got off you and where would they be then?
The same replies in reverse for us, people say weve only played the bottom half teams but thats only because weve beaten most of them meaning they are less likely to be in the top half.

So with Barton out and Henry somewhat deviding opinion on here what are the alternatives?

IMO Saturday showed that Austin was far too isolated up front on his own, he needs someone playing closer to him so maybe Harold will consider either 4231 with Faurlin and Henry/Jenas as the 2, Junior and Phillips as the wide players and Nico playing in the gap between their midfield and back 4, thereby closer to Austin......this can also be read as 4411......

Or does he revert to 442 (out dated) and play Chevanton or Johnson as a second striker and drop Henry to play a flat midfield and run the risk of them playing through us or even over-running us with a 5 man midfield.....

    Who'd be a football manager?

That only really applies after the first few games though.Once you are this far into the season the league is pretty much sorted. Can you reasonably say that the teams at the top are there unexpectedly? We always knew that our fixtures were skewed with the tough games up first.in the case of The Championship it's even more clear cut with thirteen games played. When every team has played every other team then we can start to draw some conclusions.

i would say at least three of joeys yellow cards weren't yellow card.(as in if it was someone else make the tackle they would of got off scot free.) it so easy for refs to hand them out and not think of the outcome. but we now lose one of our best players for what could be a very important game. bull **** really

While Barton has been playing well I don't see him as irreplaceable, the central midfield is one place we can change around fairly easily, so I image same formation with take your pick - Faurlin\Jenas\Henry not sure is Tom Back ?

The Burnley game , for me, exposed Henry's weakness - distribution but if Wigan aren't pushing high up the field not such and issue, personally I would - play Faurlin, Jenas. These two are interchangeable as the cover the back 4 or pushing up the pitch, both have better distribution skills.
