This was quite possibly the best performance I've ever seen from Joey. He was amazingly good. If he plays like that at Wembley we'll definitely have a better chance to win. He was masterful. His first touch was excellent and layed off several excellent passes with one touch. He ran around players, left them standing and found several players with good passes that were easy to receive.

There were a lot of great performances but Joey stood out as a truly quality player who would fit in any league. Let's hope we see more of that level.
 
Another thing worth noting is that he totally enjoyed that match, which shows me that he loves a big match. So he might revel in a Wembley tie. I recon he'll not have any kind of nerves on the day.

Agree, I think the big stage of Wembley will work to our advantage.

Just need to keep Derby at bay for the first half hour, get them frustrated, then Charlie sneak a winner :)

I fully believe that we can more than match them, if we're set up well and are in the mood. I think we'll be in the mood and I think Harry has made some decent decisions lately. Hopefully Yun will get his chance, though.

Our team has a lot more experience of big games and big crowds. We've got all of that to our advantage. I'm even thinking that Derby are the underdog, in a way.
 
I agree with the OP.

He was definetely my MOTM and it was his best performance in a hooped shirt.

Honourable mentions to Austin, Onouha, Dunne and the team in general. A similar performance on the 24th will win it for us.

Just listened to Harry Redknapp on TalkSport answering a question on players that are leaders; his response....

"Joey was the leader on and off the pitch at QPR"

We should take him back and sack off Nedum Onouha.

No (well **** off) to Barton and who takes anything that kneekapped says seriously, i'd sooner Onouha over barton anyday
 
Burnley's POTY in their promotion last season. Newcastle's POTY in their promotion season before joining us. A good, if somewhat risky, signing for any Championship side.

The Kray twins and the Richardson's were leaders. Doesn't mean I'd want them captaining the team if they were alive and could play a game of football.

Wondered how this thread was bumped and then I saw that Kneecap was mentioned......Have to find a way of unbumping threads back to their natural position in the time line!!!!!!

That would be the Jurassic period. But they wouldn't have been big predator dinosaurs, they would have been the dinosaur ancestors of rats.
