and get "I could do better, but don't know how, Milliband"?

They are all a bunch of self-serving tossers.

I was unconvinced from day one however I am in review as I see it this way ... Some of his performances last year proved me wrong
He is no playmaker but if he gets his head down surrounded with the talent we are collecting maybe he could become the kingpin ... All teams need one and I am one to give me a chance
Time heals everything and I have been left with a dislike for Tevez if I am honest and of course the press have eaten him ... I see him as a set of fangs we may need to wear in the future... I believe the club now this and all news is good news it's keeps us in the spotlight .... Keep him just to see what happens win win as tF says
    Don't panic good sense
I want other teams to be wary of him

Totally makes sense to send him out on loan. No point him rotting in the reserves. He can get match fit , people see him playing again maybe they would be interested in signing him. Worse case some other club is picking up a slice of his wage bill.

Clever move, at least he is not hanging around our club for weeks on end.
But nothing to do with Hoillet who is in effect a free agent - at most would have provided a forum with Blackburn for discussion.
And I can't imagine Blackburn will be paying any of his wages, he won't actually be playing for them for weeks either.

    ;)
More trouble than he's worth for sure.
Doesn't fit in with the 'BRAND' building either, losing it like he did , doesn't go down well in Asia.

Sounds like it could make sense for JB to go there and get/keep fit. Possibly way of reducing Hoillett compensation/fee by us picking up JB's wages (which we would be paying anyway!!). Now that's a win-win!!

Speculation- Barton out of our 25 man squad, so can't play for us until January.
So loan until January, so the team taking him get the 'benefit' of his playing for them/ serving other suspensions he accumulates.
January we decide if we need him to cover ACON absentees ( how are Mali, Morocco and Senegal doing?). Downside somebody has to shift out of the 25. If we are doing ok and don't need him, look to sell/ extend loan in January. In either scenario look to sell/move on next summer.
The length of the loan and presence or otherwise in the 25 in September will tell us a lot.

I know that Col as an individual player he falls very short but overall in a team? i.e. playing a silent cement role? or a water carrier? ... he is deluded on a massive scale that is the problem. I had to humble pie with him as he played well in a few of our later games. My youngster son is a player and told me this ... i ended up with egg on my face a couple of times as he was clearly our best player

Exactly. I always thought that entering a central American brothel, blind-folded and 'tackle out', was the worst example of being controlled by your Balls. Mr Ed is the proof that I was wrong...

What a great piece of bussiness negotiation that would be...

Is there anything this board does badly..

Keeping JB as a back up for the ACON....mmmm....could be very shrewd....would put himself in the shop window and with a good team around him, could do the biz!!

He wont be arguing with Diakite as he'll just tackle him to death.....

Hate JB with a passion, but trust (and love) our board....
