Have a word with yourself mate.

What word would that be?

Is there anything I've written which isn't plausible? As it happens I do believe he has on this occasion proved himself to be a f*cking prick !!

Good player and I'd rather he stayed, but he didn't want to stick around did he? He sh*t in his own bed during contract negotiations then signed up to twitter when they refused to meet his demands so he could have a constant dig at the club!!

Plus it's way past 4pm and he still hasn't fulfilled his promis for an update on Tw*tter !!!

Not even this bunch of clowns can be that stupid? Get ready for a load of Ashley supporters claiming this is what he wanted all along, or that he has got what he deserved. Great. That's now 4 of the best players of last season and the year before now gone. What the **** are we doing? Pains me to say it but its probably the best thing for Barton. He deserves better than us, we're a bit of a joke.

Sadly, I agree... http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_7076068,00.html

Plausible, perhaps. Fact, no. There are two sides to this story, to blame it entirely on Joey is just ****ing moronic.

Newcastle are gonna struggle big time next year,Barton was outstanding for you guys, time
for you guys to start a riot outside St james me thinks

Have to say, social networking has no place in football. Firstly, Psycho, you don't understand how facebook works. There isn't hell on, on facebook, some people YOU KNOW who can't spell are chuntering about riots.

Regarding Twitter, imagine if it were around when we sold Andy Cole. I can't imagine @J3Bez, or @Venisonshair being quite as pathetic as Simpson, Routledge (I don't get picked, boooo!) et al. Players get signed, players leave. Thats ****ing football. This isn't a comment on the Barton situation in particular, simply that this sort of stuff should remain professional, and in private as it always used to be.

I hope people haven't thought I blame Joey entirely about this, but I don't think he helped himself at all. He knew he was going to to find his way out the door if he said what he continued saying, but that didn't stop him. It's not about whether what he said was true or not, he was willing to risk getting fired if he said what he said, and apparently that was more important to him than playing for the club.

All of that said, he shouldn't be transfer listed suddenly like this, what the club should have done MONTHS AGO, is come out and give an honest explanation of the intentions for the summer, then act on those intentions, and try and settle the squad. Instead, things have festered, vague excuses have been made, players keep getting louder, and now everything's out of control.
