As far as I'm aware Barton is currently in no man's land. Marseille have apparently grown tired of agreeing a deal and have subsequently pulled out. No other suitors have come forward (surprise) so Barton is attempting to make himself a free agent with a £3million pay off. Tony Fernandes has already stated that he will not agree to such terms so the ball is in Barton's court. He's not on tour with the rest of the QPR squad and is training with the development squad.
I'm thinking that this is a perfect time to Tonz to stamp his authority at the club and take a awkward situation and turn it into a statement from the club. If Barton is to stay with the club, he must train by himself as per McLarens instructions, have no interaction with anyone associated with QPR, ( we don't want him poisoning our development squad ) Be told in no uncertain words that has no chance of playing for the club in any capacity ....... BUT he can leave anytime he wants ............. with zip, zilch, nada. If Tonz was to do this, we would not have future issues with free loaders / players looking to come to the club.
Agree with this. I posted something similar on another thread. Make Barton train solo every day from 9am-5pm. Introduce him to a normal working day and work him into the ground to compensate for the wages we're paying him. He'll soon crack, his bark has always been bigger than his bite.
That would be constructive dismissal, hed get a full pay off and maybe more. The best we can do is double sessions at 9am and 3am which will ruin his day but is still within normal training as its what we are doing now.
Point taken Flyer, as long as we'd be ruining his day and making him train hard he would crack. Anything we can do to make him leave.
Yes they does if someone else in the family or friends have iphone. They have an app which could track down the iphone. Same goes if you have ipad and use the app to find your lost iphone......
I still reckon that Tony must know someone, who knows someone, who knows someone who knows a nice friendly hit man.
