Well he either agrees with me and is arguing over nothing or has a view that other results and us being in or out of the relegation zone has no effect on morale. I want to see which it is. I dont expect a straight answer though.
I wouldn't have said Barton bossed or bullied the midfield, I'd have given credit to Diakite and more so Derry for that honour. What Barton did, and for probably the first time this season, was shut his gob, get his head down and worked hard. If he can keep that level of effort up for the remainder of the season then we might nick a couple more wins and stand a chance of staying up. It is a shame that this new level of committment has taken so long to appear, we could have done with it a long time ago.
Exactly, thats all we expect, no more holloywood passes that give quality scoring chances to the opposition. Just do the simple things, stop the opposition and give the ball to our more attacking players. Id love to know what his pass % was for that game, I think it would have been a lot better than recent weeks.
