Do not agree with you here Flyer. It's a great performance and a great result. This gives everybody connected with the club a big lift. Our team will be fully focused on what we can do to help ourselves. Yes , its nice if other results go our way, but all we can do is concentrate on us.

The simple fact is that the players would be much happier out of the relegation zone, since theres a chance we could still be there on Monday, its logical to assume they wont be as happy as they could be this week. Yes its a lift but it will be a much bigger lift if blacburn lose.

In the Times today Barton is correctly reported as a Marmite player - you either love him or hate him. So it won't surprise many that despite a decent performance I still rated nearly all our other players above him yesterday. Ridiculously the Times has Barton (8) above both Taarabt (7) and Derry (7) both of whom put in star performances IMO. Clearly their reporter likes Marmite. I do not.

I would give 8 to all Derry ,Taarabt and Barton. Diakate and Mackie and Kenny are worth of 9.

I couldnt believe my eyes when derry out paced Walcott and put in a perfect tackle on him. Ratings are hard to do everyone was within 1 point of each other and there were no bad performers.

Non taken. Churlish? I can see that, I tend to be quite churlish at times. By the way did I mention I was drunk as a skunk when I wrote that? ;)

Credit where it is due, JB had his best game so far for rangers yesterday, but then that was probably the best TEAM performancei've seen this season too. We need to play that way for the rest of the season to have any hope of staying up. Although if it comes down to the last game I think Manure will have the league sown up and City will have imploded - we may well get a result there too ....... COYR'ssssssssssssss

I have been one of those Barton bashers, although I draw a very strong line at booing any QPR player, even the likes of Marc Nygaard. And I have to say you are 100% right, RTID, in everything you say, very eloquently too. Well done, Joey... now more of the same, please!

Cheers all good debate. I think we can safely say that, love him or not, every one will be happy with more of the Barton from yesterday.

We are QPR, we never do things the easy way and this season is no exception.

    COYRs!!!!!!!!!!!

Well said. Why waste words trying to justify our criticisms or defence of Joey? It's in the past. Let's move on and look forward to Old Trafford. We do really have nothing to lose so let's go for it and either get a result or go down "all guns blazing" and with heads held high.

Flyer, just incase you don't understand mate, i'll learn you. People disagree with each other all the time. get use to it. You seem to have a problem when somebody disagrees with you. Just accept it. We are not saying you are right or wrong, just that we disagree. You always have to come back with a "i'm right" attitude. Grow up.

had they played as a team all season the simple fact is that we would not be in the position we are now in
all they can do is win against the teams left to play..
things would look a lot worse had we lost and all the teams around us won
stop worrying about the other teams results

This!<applause>. It was very good to hear a song being sung for him Saturday. It was also very good to see Adel taking the free kicks! And bl**dy fantastic to see such a great team performance and that we ground out 3 points! If we keep playing like this we could just survive!!<party>

Ive just proved the players could have been happier, you just seem to want to disagree with me just because.

Im quite happy for someone to have different opinions but when they are so illogical, they should be proved wrong unless you are really suggesting that being in or out of the bottom 3 has no effect on the players happiness?

Im not but I bet the players are, it could have been a whole lot worse without the last 2 surprise wins, wed have been level on points with Wolves and down.

If you really want the last word every time, then have it. People should be able to disagree with you without you getting so argumentative. Learn to accept other people also have opinions and maybe just maybe some of them might know a little more than you. learn to accept other opinions without having to force an arguement every time.

So are you telling me Blackburns result will have no effect on player morale? A simple yes or no will do.
