Are you the angry man who rang Robbie Savage on 606? Barton did not deserve a red end of (see we can all do it)

RVB - I think we just get a bit sick of him being criticised when he has done nothing wrong or when things get blown out of all proportion with him. Most of us wanted him out a while back because his behaviour on and off the pitch was a disgrace. But I hold my hands up and say he has turned himself around. He's still hot headed but loads of players are. When he's done wrong he takes his punishment like a man and admits he has done wrong. He did with Pedersen last year and he has with Gervinho. Its just a bit boring when folk want to change the rules of football so that agressively picking someone up by their shirt is a red card offence? Its a yellow and always has been. The ref got the situation spot on although I do wish they could review individual incidents, because in reality Gervinho has barely touched him. He's raised his so under the letter of the law its a red but would anyone really complain if it was reduced to a yellow? Well except for Spurs fans.

Honestly every PL game would end up 3 a side if we start sending people off for what Barton did! They grab each other all the time. It just seems because it is Barton, folk want it to be something more sinister.
