    Now this is a good signing imo. What price him and Williams being the mainstay of the defence? No rumours but just got a feeling Chico might be gone. Dunno.

    I hope not , he's a quality centre half whereas Kyle still is developing ,thats not to say he won't become a 1st choice CB but not yet imo

    You seem to be referring to me so I'll reply.

    He has looked good in the small amount of appearances he has had for us but is obviously injury prone...IF he can stay fit he could become a very good centre-half.

    If it was my decision, despite liking him as a player, I'd have moved him on....look at his record;
    Arsenal - injured a lot, let go
    Rangers (loan) - spent much of it injured
    Swansea - injury blighted couple of years
    Birmingham (loan) - the only spell of regular 1st team football in years where he found some form (and yet Laudrup gets stick for that decision! ).....he comes back, Monk puts him in the 1st team, he gets injured
    Monk gives him a 3 year contract.

    He's far too risky. Crazy decision imo.

    You disagree? Take this bet...
    If he plays in 10 or more games before the 1st of January and gets injured...change your name on here to "dick face"...if he comes through unscathed I'll change my name to "dick face".

    Surely if the boy is such an asset and the decision to offer him an extra 2/3 years is such a good one you'll take the bet...wont you?
