It also goes back to the end of last season. We went downhill after Covid came.
Just feel sorry for Dieng,Haka and Kak, new into team played really well and didn't deserve that result, thought Ball and Barbet were decent as well. Everyone new our midfield was poor, scouting for this has been horrendous, had a fantastic opportunity to get some great midfielders in with Eze money, instead go for easy option of Amos who was on loan, Cameron as an extension and Carroll as a useless freebie.Then get 2 random wingers in? Ultimately who is in charge of transfers, the amount of ex Rangers players u would suggest MW and their lies our problem.

We did initially but then were unbeaten in last 4 games......
Problem is take wells, Hugill, Eze, manning and now BOS out of the side and that's 55 goals and 30 assists to find......
On paper we have a decent squad, with no real complaints about a lack of strikers this season
The reality is that it is looking stale and lacking any direction

I thought we did but the centre of midfield is desperately poor and Dykes for all the good things he does do is offering no real threat. Bonne has been dire in all his starts. Early days for them both of course, unlike the midfielders.
