Agree that cup games should not count.
These games really ever raise much enthusiasm.
Winner stays on is best format.
I will be happy to sit in the hutch with my pads on till April.

That's not good to hear. I didn't see yesterday's game but I've been watching Placheta and thinking he gets himself into good positions with the ball, he just needs to find a way to put it in the net or find an open man who can get off a good shoot.

Placheta’s still young and raw. He’s a bit like Redmond early on - lacks composure and decision making isn’t perfect.

He can whip in a decent cross though, when he gets it right, and he clearly has a football brain given the positions he gets himself into.

If he can work on it, improve those key areas and his technique, then I think he could become some player because with that pace he is very dangerous.

He might not succeed though, in which case we let him go.

Well worth the punt though and if we can get ourselves into a safe promotion position he could play more and, hopefully, improve that part of his game.

Hi Rob, earlier in the season Placheta was losing the ball because, I thought, once he had control he was trying to rely on his quickness too much to get around a defender. I think he's improved in that area. Hopefully, his trouble with the first touch yesterday was temporary. As I said, I didn't watch the game.

Yeah I wanted to put a missing poster up and if found to return to Placheta, saying that I wasn't impressed by the state of the pitch looked like it was a bit cut up

I’m happy to join the list, but hopefully we won’t lose that many games between now and the end of the season!
