Can't see it personally as we create too many chances in every game home or away. Obviously we drew a blank against Swansea but hopefully that was just a blip and we keep to our 2.67 goals average in away matches. Unless we drop Bamford of course then it's got 0-0 all over it.
Tomorrow, a draw will see us in 2nd, & a win will see us on top. We're also playing a lowly team with one of the lowest-valued squads in the division. What could possibly go wrong?
We now have the opportunity to go back top of league with a win over Barnsley, any win score will do to secure top spot. Top 2 teams lost and Bristol City moved into third, and WBA could only draw with Fulham.
I do think it’ll be an unchanged lineup which I’m ok with, but I hope we’ve been practising our corner taking. Douglas is pretty good but Phillips seems to have taken over from Hernandez which seems strange as Phillips’ corners have been mediocre at best.
Now that Tyler Roberts is available and Ayling will play for the U23's this week will our injury curse finally be broken ?
My guess is that 2 of the usual suspects of Bamford, Forshaw and Hernandez will be out injured by the end of the month. Not only that but further events will transpire to sabotage our season, such as; Beradi will suffer a concussion after staring at himself in the mirror and refusing to back down. Cooper and Kiko will get straight reds. Bielsa will get a touch line ban for using an unauthorized accessory (bucket).
