Should play with Bamford.Need 2 up front more often, teams have worked out our 1 up front.

If we use two up front the whole formation has to change. What we need is a very potent goal scorer up front. Bamford did a lot of good stuff and led the line well I thought but he’s not as dangerous as we need when he gets chances. Eddie is dangerous as fck, I don’t know how well he’d lead the line for 90 minutes though. In Bielsa we trust.

We are only 15% of the way through the season, admittedly, but averaging 2.3 points a game is easily auto promotion form. That’s more important than being top at this stage, if we keep this up, we’ll go up.

Don't agree, Eddie can play a few attacking roles, an attacking no 10 when with Bamford or on his own when we don't play Bamford, too predictable with one up front especially at home.

I’m surprised he hasn’t been asked before. Penalty taker at previous club, good ball striker, cool head. ...

... and nobody else can take them<laugh>

I'm talking every game not just today <doh> and yes it is 2 up front because Eddie can just switch between positions at will, stopping it becoming predictable.

A long way to go. One point better than last season but look where Norwich were at this stage last season Screen Shot 2019-09-15 at 11.54.02 pm.png

Seems to be nothing wrong with the formation but converting the chances created. Personally I think Eddie will score more often than Bamford.

I think Barnsley gave us a good game today. This is such a tight division that nothing is a given a win is a win.

When Bielsa thinks we'll be better with Eddie and/or Costa starting then he'll do it.

Harrison missed a sitter just before halftime, subbed for Costa at HT
Struggled to get into the game as Barnsley packed midfield.

Bamford had another strong game and was unlucky not to score. He makes spaces, pulls defenders about and the way he wound Halme up was a thing to see. Halme was great except when he lost it to Bamford then tripped Eddie.

Think Costa is better on the right wing

Would have loved Eddie to come on for Harrison to see him and Bamford together.

Kiko was close to being MoM

White is really better than Halme

Some tough fixtures over the next 6 weeks.

    Derby (h)
    Charlton (a)
    West Brom (h)
    Millwall (a)
    Birmingham (h)
    Preston (a)
    Sheff Wed (a)

If we can get 4 or 5 wins there we could be in business.
