The rl is a complete farce. If they can’t make it competitive it needs scrapping for a5 team round robin tournament aus, us, kiwis and the best 2 of the rest decided by qualifiers the year before.

 

Not sure about that but the way teams were knocked out in the group stages was weird. I can see why it was done but didn't appear fair and equitable

Could still go either way...Get a lead of 200 and if Jimmy is fit we have a chance. .. Not much between these two teams as neither are great.

Last I heard we were a few in front with 2 down. Unless there were late wickets it would be reasonable to assume the middle order can at least have a couple of decent stands to give us something to bowl at.

good morning fellow Leeds fans from a chilly central Wakefield.i as usual expect a win and we will see today how our new players respond to a colder day.
i start every game being hopefull of at least a point and take no pleasure in seeing us thrashed.the faithfull will be in attendance as usual .
what a brilliant away support we have and it will be like a home game with the noise they make.
Today is the chance for Tommy to show he has learnt from the last games and set us up to scrap and fight for every ball.we do not seem to win ugly anymore.
A mixture of tactics and formations is required for this league and Tommy needs to learn this lesson.
so my question today is based on ronnie V being suspended would you just swap o'kane in his place or add another two and sacrifice Pablo what about Shawknessy sat in front of the back four as extra cover giving him freedom to cover both full backs if needed.Barnsley have a Leicester player on loan with pace .
Glad i am not my neighbour as his wife is a barnsley fan.
Again it is up to the players but will they surprise us and change tack,we will see.

It will be interesting to see how they approach this game. Not a top side but it’s a derby, and they will be physical too.

Although I do think we need a result (at least a draw) for me it is as/more important how the players approach it. Wrong attitude and we will lose, for sure.

Although every game is a judgement on the manager this game is the sort that tells you a lot about the players (and indirectly, Orta, as he recruited half of them).
