Just seen that we haven't scored a goal this season before the 57th minute. We won't win many games if we start that slowly every week.

To be honest SD I cant remember the last game in which we actually scored in the first half (apart from Carlisle).

Sad thing is we seem to play our best football in the first half but end up with nothing to show for it. It doesn't bode well.

Great start, hopefully we can grab another, because I can't see us keeping a clean sheet. Norwich two down to Liverpool too, keeping their form going!

If this is the start of a turn around and Higginarse makes a difference in defence then great stuff.

Opted not to go, hope that proves a mistake!

Hyams come off, hopefully not an injury but I assume it is because it sounded like he was playing well, breaking up play and pressurizing the Barnsley players

Why doesn't Luongo start? By all accounts he's been our best player...

Good to hear he's doing well, he's rated highly at the club and I think we'll see him in the Premier League next season whether he's with us or loaned out to again.

Although Luongo seems to be creative and drives the play forward it sounds like we are now missing the influence of Hyam breaking up Barnsley's play. We haven't won since he was last in the team, we were 1-0 up with him in the team but lost a goal since he's gone off. Coincidence or just unlucky? I think what Luke does for the team, whilst unremarkable compared to Luongo, is much more important.

Agreed, honestly feel he's one of our most important players, when he's playing well it makes the whole team flow

    ****ing useless!

Sounds like the keeper should have stopped our goal, decently organised in the first half, but second half domination by the opposition. Lucky to get away with it.

Amazingly, a point. Amazingly only one goal conceded rather than the customary three or more (frequently “or more”).

Had nearly two years in charge with over 4 million spent (c/f various other Championship managers) and second bottom.

But it’s not any of PJ’s doing, is it. Keane had more to spend and the wages have been cut back (apparently an amazing new piece of information). Ergo, how could any other manager do any better under these onerous circumstances, entirely unknown to any other Championship manager (apart many of the teams above us).

Yes – PJ is a much wronged and entirely blameless individual doing a brilliant job!

Ipswich were very poor, how we didn't manage to get another goal I'll never know.

We had a slow start and Ipswich took advantage but, it was never a free kick. Trevor Kettle hates us at Oakwell, clear handball in the last 10 minutes. Blocked the shot with his foot, went over his head hit him on the hand and then allowed the ball to go away from goal for him to clear.
